Lesson 4.3: Using Print Preview

   

 

 

Let’s take a closer look at that toolbar. It contains most of our print preview options.

 

 

Let’s take a look at each button on that toolbar.

 

Prints the document.

Changes your cursor to a magnifier. You can click within the document once to zoom in a level, and then click it again to zoom out a level.

Shows one page.

Opens a menu to allow you to select multiple pages (like the Multiple Pages feature in the Zoom dialog box).

Change the zoom level.

Turn rulers on or off.

Shrink to fit all pages onto one page. (This command may not be possible for all documents, but Word will always attempt the operation.)

Switches to full screen mode.

Closes print preview.

 

You can see that many of our viewing tools (like Zoom, Multiple Pages, and Full Screen) come into play here.
