Toolbars are one of the most useful components of Word. As we discussed earlier, a toolbar is a row of buttons. This row can be found in any part of the screen, although the default toolbars are at the top of the editing window. When you click on a button, it performs a specific action.
Microsoft Office Word 2003 has 19 different toolbars. In this lesson, we’re going to focus on the two default toolbars: the standard toolbar and the formatting toolbar. We’ll also talk about how to add, remove, and customize toolbars. We’ve got a lot to cover, so let’s get started!
