There are a few ways to start Microsoft Office Word 2003. The first is from the Start Menu. Follow the steps listed below to find Word in your start menu. Note that some steps have two methods as they apply to both users of Windows 2000 and Windows XP.

1.      Click the Start button in the bottom left hand corner of your screen.

2.      Choose Programs or All Programs (depends on your operating system).

3.      Click the Microsoft Office folder.

4.      Click Microsoft Office Word 2003.
